South Africa beat Netherlands by 231 runs

Hashim Amla(113) and DeVilliers (134) helped South Africa to put a target of 352 for Netherlands. But Netherlands were all out for 120. Thahir took 3 wkts for South Africa.

The super Ireland beat England by 3 wkts

England's 327 runs were not enough for the Ireland batsmen. They chased the score with 5 balls remaining. Pieterson(59) , Bell(81), and Trott(92) were in great touch to put a target of 328. K.Obrien (113) was the super star for the Irish. 

Srilanka beat Kenya by 9 wkts

Srilankan bowlers were strict in line and length, so as to tie the Kenyan score at 142. Malinga damaged the Kenyan innings by taking 6 wkts. The Obuya brothers scored 51 and 52 for Kenya. And for Srilanka, Tharanga scored an unbeaten 67. Dilshan was 44 when he was caught by Ouma.
 

Windies beat Netherlands by 215 runs

 After having setting up of a huge target of 331, Windies tied the Netherland innings at 115. For Windies, Gayle(80), Pollard (60) and sarvan(49) batted well. K.Roach took 6 wkts to finish the Netherland innings at 115.

Zimbabwe beat Canada by 175 runs.

Zimbabwe put a target of 299 in 50 overs for Canada. Taibu scored 98 runs and Ervine scored 85 runs for Zimbabwe. Balaji Rao got 4 wkts for Canada. On reply, Canada could only score 123 runs in 42.1 overs.

England tied India

 Sachin Tendulkar's 48th century in ODI (120),  Yuvraj's (58), and Gambhir's (51) fifties helped India to make a target of 339 in 50 overs for the English. On reply, Captain Strauss(158), and Bell(69) played excellently to equate with Indian score. Bresnan got 6 Indian wkts.

Pakistan beat Srilanka in the Colombo Stunner by 11 runs

 Misbah Ul-Hakh (83*) and Younis Khan (72) managed the Pakistan score to 277 in the 50 overs. Chamara Silva(57) and Sangakkara(49) fought to reply, but they could only to manage their score to 266 in the  whole 50 overs. Afidi bowled a mahic spell to take 4 Srilankan batsmen out.

The Irish nightmare for the Bangladesh

 

 

Ireland bowled  Bangladesh out for just 205. The Irish men were unable to chase the low score. They were all out for 178. No batsmen find fifties in both innings.


                                                 

Second win for Aussies in cwc

 
                 
                 Aussies finished  the Kiwis for just 206. (N.McCullam-52, Vettory-44). Mitchel Johnson took 4 wkts for the Aussies. Watson-62 and Haddin-55 helped them to chase the score easily.

                          

South Afica beat Windies royally.

A.B.De Villiers's unbeaten century helped South Africa to chase theWindies score of 222 in 42 overs.
Darren Bravo scored 73 for Windies.

Pakistan beat Kenya in style

 

 Kamran Akmal(55) , Umar Akmal(71), Younis Khan(50), and MisBah-Ul-hakh(65) lead Pakistan to a very good total (317/7) in the 50 overs. Afridi (8-3-16-5) became the first bowler to take 5 wkts in this world cup to finish Kenya's innings for just 112.

Strauss lead England to a narrow Win

England beat Holland by 6 wkts.

(ten Doeschate 119*, Cooper 47 showed England about the depth of  Dutch batting  to get a score of 292/6. The English men were so strong enough although they could chase the score only in the second last over. Captain Strauss(88) and  Jonathan Trott(62) made their win so easy)
